This year, the Brandeis Student Union will be providing Turkey Shuttles again for those heading off to New York for the holiday. It is not always cheaper to take this shuttle rather than taking the Mega Bus or the Bolt Bus, yet it is much more convenient as you will not have to face the Thanksgiving craziness taking the public transportation in the city.
If you do choose to fly, compare the prices of all major airlines before making a decision. Though there is a bit of disagreement between travel gurus, most recommend either Tuesday or Wednesday as the optimal day to buy airline tickets.
