Welcome to Savvy Student!

The Office of Student Financial Services is excited to launch our first ever blog. Our hope is to make every student financially successful while at Brandeis and long after graduation. We strive to provide our students with the most up-to-date, useful resources pertaining to financial aid, student accounts, student employment and most importantly, everyday money management.

We will update Savvy Student three times a week. Every Monday we will feature submissions from the Brandeis community. We will post anecdotes, advice or tips from students, faculty, staff or alumni on how to make the most of your money. Please participate by submitting suggestions or advice to sfs@brandeis.edu. Be sure to include "Monday Tips" in the subject line and let us know who you are. We will include anonymous entries as well.

Tune-in on Tuesdays as we will feature tips from SFS staff on topics ranging from loans to money management. We will also link students to helpful articles about saving money and living well on a budget.

We will post a Frequently Asked Questions section on Fridays. If you have any questions relating to credit cards, savings, loans, financial goals, etc. please stand by for answers and advice. To submit questions include "Fact Friday" in the subject line and send the email to sfs@brandeis.edu.

Throughout the week Savvy Student will post surveys to help bloggers and our office better serve the unique needs of the Brandeis community. Readers who complete our surveys will be entered into a drawing for a variety of prizes. Be sure to check our blog often to take advantage of these opportunities to win!
