The Today Show featured Martin Lindstrom, author of "Buy-ology, Truth and Lies about Why We Buy". There is a great article and short video with Lindstrom discussing product placement. We watch thousands of commercials, tv shows and movies each year only to be bombarded by product advertisements. We may try to dodge the ad's, but ultimately we are influenced by the products.
